Greener Product LLC in collaboration with Energy Onion will start delivering webinar based continuing education courses to the more than 175,000 LEED APs and LEED Green Associates next month.

Charleston, SC   Aug 10, 2010 — Greener Product LLC will offer USGBC approved Energy System training modules covering such topics as Lighting, industrial Systems, Indoor Air Quality, Motors and Drives, HVAC, Building Automation, Building Envelope.

The courses have been developed by Energy Onion, the commercial market leader in the development of energy systems training to facility managers, engineers, contractors and consultants. “This collaboration enhances the value of the Greener Product online listings for our clients and provides a “one-stop” destination for LEED professionals interested in green building and training” stated Peter Rundle, CEO, Greener Product.

USGBC Approved Education
Two Energy Onion training modules have been approved by the USGBC for continuing education credits including Energy Systems Introduction (live and self-paced) and the more advanced Energy System Analyst (English and Spanish) program. These courses will count toward GBCI Continuing Education (CE) non specific credit hours for LEED APs and LEED Green Associates. LEED APs must earn 30 CE hours biennially (6 of which must be LEED-specific hours) and LEED Green Associates must earn 15 CE hours biennially (3 of which must be LEED-specific hours) to maintain their credentials.
