Charleston, SC – July 14, 2011 – Greener Product LLC has recently announced that Atlantic Paving Co. Inc., Miami, FL has been awarded the Greener Product Certification Seal for its OMNIGRP CST line of decorative surfacing products.
OmniGripCST provides a unique, eye-catching and exciting resin bonded aggregate surface for landscape and streetscape enhancements. OmniGripCST uses a 100% recycled synthetically processed, and chemically inert colored aggregate engineered for high performance in environments where colored aggregates must be resistant to skidding abrasion and must retain a high color definition when exposed to the heaviest of trafficking and wear. OmniGripCST is highly durable and requires very little maintenance. It is skid resistant and suitable for concrete and asphalt.
The Atlantic Paving product is FDOT approved and offers one of the most advanced and proven bonded aggregate system comprised of synthetic eco-friendly recycled colored glass. OMNIGRIP CST w/ SYNTHITE is a 100% synthetic, high friction, decorative surfacing system that due to its ability to retain color for the design life of the installation makes it ideal for use in crosswalks, intersections and bus and bike lanes. The system can be installed in either solid colors or patterned to imitate a brick paver look as well as many other custom patterns.
The Greener Product Certification Seal demonstrates that a product has been evaluated against the LEED® and/or NAHB green building standards using internationally recognized third-party certification organizations, laboratory test results and/or other supporting documentation.
The Seal confirms that the product complies with LEED® and/or NAHB® standards and may earn credits that contribute to certification under these green building rating systems. Only building products that meet the standards are awarded the Greener Product Certification Seal.
